With chaos in my personnal life and the event of the 12th. of September the blog has rollin' slow. I apologize for the minimalism.

The vote had a good respond but I'm thinking of some sort of report to give more insight of the whole process. A re-written of the project is on is way. Some of us thought the reading of the project's too long while some of us are more incline of well articulate and longer text with conclusions to shape a report of the actions.

I'll keep posted all of you who where interested enough to provide an e-mail, to ask questions about the project and all of you who were brave enough to bypass the rain last saturday evening. It was a blast for me! Thx. Tx.

My Friend's Crippled Got A Park Space All The Time

It has been now nine days of adjustement, some laziness with eyes wide open on Big D., already lots of miles of roads highway or lanes boulevard and bridges. A fest for my eyes. Am I in love with this city, does I dream sometimes of doing something here or there, do I miss paris sometimes and some person back there. I still don't have a clue about all the questions streaming trough my brain waves. Gimmme a magic eight ball right away! Hey but now that I'm thinking of that, there's a palm reader at 2min. walk on Exposition avenue. Should I go visit?

More Bang For Your Buck

Driving down main street you can catch the buildings from downtown Dallas. Actually quiet peacefull to drive by at night. Above in the picture, there's this place call Kuby's where I wanted to go on Snider plaza. It's a german deli that makes his own sausage and people told it was quiet great and cheap (I like cheap). It was closed that time of the week so we get to a BBQ diner instead called Peggy Sue's BBQ. We were guest by two strangest creature. My guess is that they were kings. (you know girls who cross dress as man). Our waiter was so butch with goatie and everything but what came out from his words was really small women voice. He was fierce actually. And BBQ was so yummy.

There's a lot of passion for old place and history of those places. And people always have a story to share around here. It's kind of natural to talk with strangers of great things that happened in your life. Also small talks are a good way to start with. Anykind even how ya doin' tonight. The comfort of strangers. I went to this place called the Hidden Door (so you can guess what kinda bar is that, right?) They have the cheapest bargain you can imagine, it's called the beer fest (!!!) where you can have beer for 50c the glass. And you have a patio with those huge fans that sprayed water at the same time and you could almost touch the planes landing real close. And these big butt black queens!

When I'm workin in the studio it's kind of anywhere in the world sensation but every time I'm out it's defennitly Texas U.S.A. Like also there's a lot of NO around; I took a lot of these last time I was in New York but as I'm workin' on it right now I was makin' a mental list of NO like Passing - Standing - Trespassing, NO Standing etc. like this one above that said YOU'RE ENTERING A NO CRUISING ZONE (omg!!! what the fuck?). As I was thinkin' of that shit I ask myself what could be the YES in here. To me money is totally a YES here! And there's the thing with what I do with the dollar bill, where at some point people asked themselves if it's LEGAL to draw on money. At one point someone told me, quote: "I guess you could still pay with those (bank will cash your check even if it's not signed)" end of quote. So that's a YES, it's not legal (eventhough no one's really sure of that I'll take it as a YES). And YES if i'm coming a little dry I could use them to take the dart bus.

Ho yeah I know I found the collectible cup of wrestlers so hysterical. Need to found the one with the mean cowboy. He's real scary!

Hy guys! (fot those who follow this blog)

Here I am finally settle in Dallas for my project.
But let's rewind a little bit to the crazy morning of tuesday 19th.

Everything was perfect so far - on time at the airport, treated like a terrorist because it's a flight for Atlanta, got the chanel N°5 for lee - but I always forget that I'm jinxed when it comes to travel mate. So of course I get to my seat where I found someone already seated there and a women seated next to the window. Okay so that would left me the seat in between those two strangers, no problem but I want my fuckin' alley seat. I told the guy so and he just stare at me and said that would be impossible bla-bla-bla and I have the most hard time to explain to him how the little images of the seats number works. Oh and by the way: he's french (of course!). And you know what he starts to talk to the women like "what the F* they told us I will have that seat and fa fa fa". It happens that he actually was traveling WITH HER. Do they really thought I will take the seat between thos two??? Come on man MOVE!!!!!!. From now on and for 9 hours I will be seated next to one of the nost obnoxious rude stupid mannerless cunt ever. I can't even recount how many elbow punch I get. This MF had bad breathe and loafer like those of our dear french president. And guys when you turning 50 something it's really not sexy all those fuckin' PDA (public display of affection - FYI). Come on! She was drulling all over him; he was literraly lavishly carressing her thighs. Can you image. 9 hours guys; N-I-N-E HOURS (the flight is only 8Hrs and a half but that's another story). Okay so on top of that, in the middle of the flight the guy decided to open his laptop and engage in an explanation to his girlfriend (no wedding ring I checked) of what his doing for a living. At loud! And believe me when I say it was boring, it was! To death! Something about ores processing bla-bla and how good the company was and how much money they were makin and so on and now ladies and gentlemen here's the powerpoint presentation of the company and bla bla bla for hours. At one point I left my seat, grab the pillow and headed the back of the plane and scream in the pillow like crazy. I swear I could kill those guys with the plastic knife designed by stark they just gave you for the lunch.

Anyway I finally went to my happy place and remain calm. Until we approach Atlanta and we've been told that we had to wait for landing because of too much traffic and bad weather conditions. Okay so now his the time to panic. Like I'll never get my flight for Memphis on time playing over and over in my head.

And surely I will miss my flight: So many people arriving at the same time at the border patrol whatever it's called. Plus the fact that I have to pick up my suitcase and openned it to put the goddam bottle of perfume in it (but I get to change of shirt and put som' anti perspirant in the middle of the baggage claim so it was kind of fun) then pass the custom counter and give back the fuckin' luggage. Okay so I get lucky at that point cos delta girl found me another flight that match my other flight to Dallas. Because of too much trafic and bad weather as I mentionned above our flight for Menphis was really late for take off and as we were taxied on second position, the trafic stoped! Yeah MF 15 minutes to add to our 20 minutes delay!!! WO-O!

Okay I was considering the fact that I will have to sleep in Memphis that night, it was something like 17:30 atlanta time and I was awake since 7:00 Paris time so you do the math; you add my stress and sweat and draw the equation!

And of course I was seated next to an asshole.

Anyway it was amazing to look at the clouds having so many shapes and colors some havin' lightnings while others where so dark and grey looking like concrete floating in the air and some where beautifully lit from the sun above.

We arrived in memphis where the sky was cloudless and i could see under my eyes the city so green spreading wide with cool total clichè neighborhood of the american dream. Lucky me I was on time my last flight to Dallas.

As I was going to take my third flight for the day I realized that the planes were getting smaller but the people was on the contrary gettin' bigger. As Charissa point it out; Love Field is a redneck airport and middle class is F-A-T. I swear I was the only skinny bitch on the plane. Except for the old Biatch sittin' next to me but I think she was a witch. (Told you I'm jinxed!). Hey you know what? the boarding attendant was checkin our bags and told the big one had to be on the cargo space you know because they were too big for that small little plain. yeah right. A lot of things could have been going down there if you know what I mean.

Sorry folks but Fatty, take it easy on that bretzel thing and sugary drinks alright?

Yeah I know I'm a bitch! Talk to the hand.

Finally It was Dallas and belive me it was a relief after so much cold and presurized cabin that even the outside oven like heat was paradise. Yeah charissa and her car driving me to whole food market to buy a bit of food, cold beers and magazines was pure heaven! Arriving close to CentralTrak at night with this feeling of a familiar place. Somewhere you've already been there and you can't wait to see again. It was awesome. Charissa show me the studio; with my mail waiting for me and the stuff I ordered online was already there.She left. I went to bed at 1:20.

I woke up at 8:00 and started to settled.

Lee, Franck and Walt arrived for lunch. We drive through Main street heading south to downtown then a little more west to uptown and finally headed to TARGET because Lee and I are Target Addict and then in a small pretty not fancy mexican restaurant but i don't fuckin' remember where it was nor the name. In the small lobby there was picture with autograph in a frame, of a very famous actress of a very famous TV show. I'll let you guess who it was. Picture's below. I'll include some other stuff later like the pictures of the studio if I'm not too lazy, Biatch!

Walkin' in streets the other day, cookin' in my own sweat I was listenning to a fuckin' great mix realeased by Âme on Fabric Records.

Design and colors are not customizable. A spare part of blue laces are included with the purchase so you can mix n' match. This crazy and expensive product (started at 108$ without shipping) is intend like every other products in the store to help create The Dallas Project. Thus makin' them part of the artistic project itself.

The First Post

For my first trip in the US EVER, I choose to visit my girlfriend Lee. I met in Lee in Paris, She's from Dallas Tx. - We met in Paris. I flew to Atlanta then to Dallas and fell in love with the city.

Came back in Paris, home* from new york with two dollars left in my pocket.

This is what started the idea of the project for my dallas residency at CentraTrak. All comments are welcome here. The blog will start on day to day basis in August 20th. I'll updated this blog with everything from personal stuff to relevant pictures of the project but also wishes, dreams and other non-relevant things. Will see where it goes.

*at home I found The three Boxes I send to Myself back when I was in Texas.

(I bought So many things, and food, and things called books that I had to send 3 boxes total ship like 183$-so big and so full.)

Then back in paris, I started to send a bunch of letters wishing me to be home safely at dallas where I wasn't there yet. simply wishing to have them all at my arrival. greetings from home.
